The purpose of this procedure is to provide guidance to verify the competency of Vortex Education and Clients for the completion on Verification of Competencies (VOC’s). Vortex Education will ensure operators that are licensed will undergo practical and knowledge-based skills assessments to verify competency in their field.
This will ensure operators are familiar with hazards exposed while operating plant and equipment in specific areas.
We can conduct VOC’s for the following:

How is the Online VOC Course conducted?
Completing the Online VOC Course assessment.
The online VOC course is conducted at your site using a Subject Matter Expert (Client based Supervisor) who will assess the candidate’s practical experience and skills with the criteria outlined in the VOC. This is then sent through to Vortex Education for verification.
Vortex Education will then conduct a knowledge based assessment with the candidate via phone, removing the clunky online questioning which can sometimes be a pain.
